Tice ~ The New Game

Tice is a game i invented using another game; Boggle. It is very fun and i hope you will enjoy it.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

- one or more Boggle sets.

- a piece of paper and pencil to score 

Each player has three or more Boggle cubes to themselves. Everyone agrees what number to finish the game; for example, when the first person gets 20 points he/she wins the game. Everyone starts off with five points.

The first player to start says e.g. "I bet i will get a two letter word." All the other plays say whether they think he/she will get a two letter word or not. The player then rolls his cubes. If he/she does get a two letter word, he/she earns two points, therefore making him/her on 7 points. Any other players who said he/she would get a two letter word earns 1 point. If they said he/she wouldn't get a two letter word, they lose a point. If he/she didn't get a two letter word, he/she loses a point. 

If someone bet they would get a three letter word and they did, they get three points. Whatever number you bet, and if you get it right, you get that amount of points. However, if you get it wrong, you only lose 1 point.

The next person has turn. It goes all round the circle and continues. If everyone in the game has an 'X' cube, then whenever you roll it you get an extra point. This only happens when EVERYONE has an 'X' cube.

The scorer adds the numbers up. 

You can gamble in this game as well. At the beginning of the game, you put all the things you want to gamble in the middle. Whoever wins gets everything in the middle.

My Solar System Report

I had to do a research project on the solar system and i d=found out alot.

WHAT IS THE SOLAR SYSTEM?

The solar system is a system of planets in our galaxy, with the sun at its centre. There are four inner planets — the ones closest to the sun — an asteroid belt, then the four outer giant gas planets, and finally, the Kuiper belt.

WHAT DOES THE SOLAR SYSTEM LOOK LIKE?

The solar system is made up of planets, gas and dust that travel in ever moving elliptical tracks around the sun. The sun is a huge ball of flames and gas, towering over all other planets with its mighty glow.

THE NAMES OF THE PLANETS ARE...

Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. 

WHER IS THE SOLAR SYSTEM?

Our solar system is on the outreaches of the Milky Way Galaxy. We are located on one of its spirally arms, out to the edge of it. The arms are named after the constellations seen in those directions. The major arms  are called the Perseus Arm, the Sagittarius Arm, the Centaurus Arm and the Cygnus Arm. Our galaxy is situated on an arm called the Orions Spur.

AU in astronimacal terms means 'Astronomical Unit' = 149 598 000 kilometers. The solar system is 160 AU wide!

WHAT DOES THE SOLAR SYSTEM DO?

The sun has a gravitational pull on all planets, comets, meteorites, satellites and asteroids. This means they dont drift away, they stay on their own course around the sun. And the sun has its own track around the galaxy! A very, very low one that takes 280 million years!

A BLACK HOLE

A black hole is an area of space where the gravitational pull is so powerful that nothiing can escape it. One may observe gas that spirals into the black hole. It heats up to very high temperatures that can be seen from earth-orbiting telescopes. Such observations have shown that black holes do exist in the universe.

Robert Pattinson doesn't think his body is ready for the coming New Moon:

"I read the book and Edward is supposed to have a good looking body, so i was thinking about not auditioning," he told entertainmentwise.com. "But in the end i did it for two reasons; because i knew i'd already made a big impact in Twilight; i also wanted to lose my fat and get a six pack." Obviously it worked because those girls out there dont look like they're about to stop.

Kristen Stuart Tells the truth:

In an interview with E! Online Kristen tells us about her romance with Robert:

"Rob and I are great friends, and i understand why you think we are maybe more than that, and im not criticizing you. If anything they're very perceptive because you can see can see a closeness."

In fact Kristen thinks that it was the dedicated fans who saw this closeness on screen and she hoped it will bleed over in real life.

"I love the fans. They are the ones who make me propel forward, make me feel like i can do it. I almost feel like i am a fan, and being with them feels so great."

Yet, sometimes these fans make her feel overwhelmed.

"Im not used to 5,000 girls screaming my name, so it does kinda get overwhelming; im not criticizing anyone for being crazy about me, i just say 'This is crazy!' "

She also says why Robert turned up at the Oscars without her.

"If i was invited to the Oscars i would be there in a nanosecond. I wouldn't turn it down!"

Now that the the second movie, 'New Moon' is about to be produced, and eclipse is in development, many are wondering if there will be a fourth.

"I'm pretty confident that the fans wont lose sudden interest, and i really hope there will be one. If they do lose interest, its very unlikely there will be a fourth."
